About WP-ORG

West-Point.Org (WP-ORG) is a 501(c)(3) organization connecting almost 30,000 USMA grads, parents, and friends of West Point. Since its inception in 1996, WP-ORG has been funded by the generosity of member contributions and is governed and run independently from the USMA and the USMA  AOG. WP-ORG is governed by a Board of Advisors and run by two and one-half employees, but the major lifting is accomplished by an army of volunteers serving the Long Gray Line. Our mission is as follows:

West-Point.Org (WP-ORG), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides an online communications infrastructure that enables graduates, parents, and friends of the military academy to maintain and strengthen the associations that bind us together. We will provide this community any requested support, consistent with this purpose, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The Superintendent changed the Hellcat Reveille quite significantly, starting last Monday. This is his prerogative, but some explantation to the graduate community would have helped. Other classes may have interest.

If url’s below are not highlighted, then cut and paste 🙂

New Version (you might want to turn up the volume a bit, xmission cut amplitude a some)

Change can be good; maybe this is ok. Just a little a notice could have made it smoother.

We, the grads and families who use this media to stay connected and to vent our opinions, stand solidily with you and the WP.ORG organization. WE ARE WEST POINT, not some weenie paper-pusher worried about branding. WE are the source of continued support and pride in our Alma Mater. WE are the daily recruiters for future graduates. WE are the power to right the course when USMA goes astray…. or stays on point. WE ARE WEST POINT, and have earned the right to display the emblems of our binding source. (I suppose the next step for USMA OSJA is to send a Cease and Desist Letter to US ARMY.)
