As a "young" graduate (1998), I have would like to ask some simple questions of all of the leadership involved "Behind the Scenes."

1. Does these actions attempt to deceive anyone or allow anyone to be deceived?

2. Does this action gain or allow gain of a privilege or advantage to which I or someone else would not otherwise be entitled?

3. Would I be unsatisfied by the outcome if I were on the receiving end of this action?

And I will add two of my own:

4. Would we want the plebes to read this?

5. How does this help our graduates in combat?

Jane McEntee Coumes writes:

"It does not appear that a cooperative/amiable relationship between the two organizations will be possible until the hurt feelings and ownerships issues take a back seat to the needs of the cadets and graduates - and that is from both sides of the aisle."

This issue does "take a back seat" to the needs of graduates and parents on the part of WP-ORG, Jane. We felt, however, that it was time to shine a light on it and that's why it's been the subject of recent blogging, which is separate from WP-ORG daily activities.

Thanks for your comment.

I have been reading this issue with interest.
I am sorry to say that your last post resorted to just what you have been accusing the AOG of doing, allegation and innuendo. It does not appear that a cooperative/amiable relationship between the two organizations will be possible until the hurt feelings and ownerships issues take a back seat to the needs of the cadets and graduates - and that is from both sides of the aisle.

<blockquote></blockquote>

Darren,

I think what we're seeing here is a lack of effective communication within the organization, i.e., the left hand either doesn't know what the right is doing or ignores it. Further, there appear to be actions taken on an individual basis that reflect poorly on the organization as a whole.
