I'm not sure that I am authorized to respond o this site..... but here goes...
I have benn to many other games at colleges and highschools and can say withou a doubt that the talent on the Army team is as good if not better than a lot of schools is they play. If you want to run a pro offense with the talent for option football then your coaching is suspect not the players. Coach Brock needs to take a hard look at his staff and see what changes he needs to make to support his players (Some of the best youngmen in the nation). Lowering standards (as some have suggested) is not the answer, but coaching the talent you have is the answer. Army's games are some of the most enjoyable times I have spent at any game I've attended. Winning for the Cadets and Westpoint is what Army football should be about. Proper coaching and proper recruiting is the right first step.

Coach Brock's post A/N comments to press are reported to include that Army had to get..."better players" with no mention for a need for better coaching. This was poor judgement and ,I believe, incorrect.
Army's players are at the same, or higher, skill levels as the Navy players. Had Army been coached throughout the season by a skilled Options Coaching Staff, as Navy's Coach Johnson's Staff, the game would have been much closer.
Come on Army....get back to option football.
